    Hi, gustalem

First, thanks for lbendlin reply. The performance of a dashboard in Power BI can be influenced by several factors, including the workspace type (personal vs. shared), the capacity it's hosted on, and the specific configurations or features enabled in each workspace.

Personal workspaces vs. shared premium workspaces:

    1. Personal workspaces typically run on shared capacity unless specifically assigned to Premium capacity by a capacity administrator. Shared Premium workspaces, on the other hand, run on dedicated Premium capacity. While Premium capacities offer dedicated resources which generally improve performance, the actual performance can vary based on the overall load and resource utilization of the Premium capacity. If the Premium capacity is heavily utilized, you might experience slower performance compared to a less burdened shared capacity.

    2. Shared Premium workspaces are designed for collaboration and may contain more content (reports, dashboards, datasets) than personal workspaces. The increased content and number of users accessing this content can impact the loading times and overall performance of dashboards within these workspaces.

    3. There might be differences in the configuration and features enabled in personal vs. shared Premium workspaces. For example, certain optimizations and settings available in Premium capacities, such as Auto-scale, can affect performance. Additionally, personal workspaces might have fewer data refreshes and less complex datasets, contributing to faster performance.

Steps to Improve Dashboard Performance in Shared Premium Workspaces:

    1. Ensure that your reports and dashboards are optimized for performance. This includes minimizing the number of visuals on a page, using aggregations, and optimizing your data model.

    2. Monitor and Manage Premium Capacity: Regularly monitor the utilization of your Premium capacity and consider redistributing workloads or resizing the capacity if necessary.

    3. Check the configuration of your shared Premium workspace and adjust settings for optimal performance. This might include managing dataset refresh schedules to off-peak hours and reviewing the usage of features like paginated reports or large datasets.
