When you pin a live page or visual from a report to a dashboard and then publish it in an app, users may encounter an error, such as "You don’t have permission or the model doesn’t exist." This occurs because live-pinned tiles are not fully supported in Power BI Apps, especially if the underlying report uses a live connection to a dataset that the app audience does not have direct permissions to access.

Ensure that users who will access the app also have direct access to the underlying dataset. This is critical for live connections, as Power BI requires permission to the dataset itself.

Use Static Tiles Instead: Instead of live-pinning tiles, consider pinning static visuals or screenshots. Although this approach does not allow real-time updates, it bypasses the permission issues associated with live-pinned visuals.
