Dashboard - How do i make a report on tile 2 respond to slicer on tile 1?

When i am using the desktop version and the report version on Power Bi Online the Slicer on Page 1 filters the data on page 2 - cross report filtering is turned on to both pages in the report view.

But when i publish both pages to a power bi online dashboard the slicer on "Tile 1" will not interact with the reports on "Tile 2".

How can i make this work? can't see what i'm doing wrong ....please help

much appreciated Sean

Dashboards are not interactive.  If you click on a tile it takes you to the underlying report.
