I have a dashboard that I am trying to pin visuals to, and when I pin the visual, I can't see the underlying data because it can't render the formatting from the report. there doesn't appear to be a way to customize the visuals in the dashboard. Does this mean, I can style report visuals in a certain way if I want to add them to the dashboard? Example attached.
Hi @lombardit7,
I can reproduce your issue. Regarding to the issue that background of the visual will be removed after pinning to dashboard, please vote the following idea.

And in your scenario, once you change color of data values to other colors such as Red, you will be able to see them after you pin the visual to dashboard.
Thanks,
Lydia Zhang
This is a poor reply to the issue. The problem is that dashboards show with a white background, so a user can't create a visual with any white text because the text won't show against the white background. What we need to know is if there are any plans to make it possible to have an option to take formatting from the underlying report to the dashboard.
