Hi
I have an ODBC connection to MongoDB with the DSN for MongoDB setup on a gateway with a whitelisted IP. I have been using Power BI dataflows to connect to the data and create reports.
If I want to use direct query from Power BI Desktop, is this possible ? I can't see a way of doing this without setting up the DSN locally and whitelisting my desktop IP
Many thanks in advance

Hi @Jan_Hob ,
According to your description. You can try to use odbc connector and try to direct query to odbc data source:
GitHub - sgoley/DirectQuery-for-ODBC-in-PowerBI: Direct Query for PostgreSQL via ODBC with SSL
But, direct query do not support all Power Query transformations. Make sure your data source does not need to use query transformations or you will receive an error message.
For more details, you can read below document and blog:

If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information and related operation screenshoots. Looking forward to your reply.
