    Hi Anonymous ,

This error typically indicates an issue with the device's registration in Azure Active Directory (AAD). Here's how you can resolve it:

    Steps to Fix the Error:

    1. Ensure Your Device is Registered in AAD:

      • Open Settings on your new laptop.
      • Go to Accounts > Access work or school.
      • Check if your device is connected to your organization (Azure AD). If not, connect it.
    2. Reauthenticate Data Sources in Power BI:

      • Log in to the Power BI Service.
      • Go to Settings > Datasets.
      • Under Data Source Credentials, edit and reauthenticate the affected data source(s).
    3. Verify Gateway Configuration:

      • If you are using a data gateway, ensure the gateway is properly configured and up to date.
      • Re-enter credentials in the Manage Gateways section in Power BI Service.
    4. Confirm Tenant Device Settings:

      • Ask your IT admin to verify that your device is compliant and registered in the tenant.
      • The admin can check this in the Azure AD Admin Center under Devices.
    5. Clear Browser Cache:

      • Clear your browser's cache and cookies, then log back into Power BI Service to retry.
    6. Sign Out and Back In:

      • On Power BI Desktop and Service, log out of your account and log back in. This can refresh any stale tokens.
    7. Contact IT for Conditional Access Issues:

      • Some organizations enforce conditional access policies that might block unregistered devices. Inform your IT department if the issue persists.

If these steps don't resolve the issue, it's worth reaching out to your IT department or Azure admin for further assistance. They can verify and correct device registration issues in your tenant.
