Question

Hi,I am facing&nbsp;DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_InvalidMashupConnectionString","pbi.error" when trying to refresh a dataset from Service.&nbsp;Scenario:-We are using CDATA odbc drivers for Power BI-Trino connectivity.Dataset has a single table with no transformations.Refresh works fine on desktop and sometimes on service.Every now and then i receive the above error. Can anyone help?&nbsp;Note:-ODBc drivers are installed on gateway and refresh worked fine earlier.Recently there were some updates done on the gateway.&nbsp;PFA&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

I ran across this thread and noticied nobody had answered.&nbsp; I have used CData quite often and am usually quite pleased.&nbsp; With random errors like this it has almost always been the same 2 or 3 things (which are the same fundamental problem).&nbsp; First, if users change the data structure (particularly when they rename or remove fields in the data source) I will get errors.&nbsp; Second, if the data source upgrades, you have to get the latest CData software as well to apprehend that data.&nbsp; Third, I have had refresh errors that were becuase my data source just didn't play nice with third party tools (like NetSuite doesn't play nice) and although CData showed the error, it was not the CData part that was breaking.
And, of course, you can always ask the CData support for what they think might be happening.

Hi,&nbsp;&nbsp;Just want to know if this issue is resolved.I have similar issue. Power BI Gateway server is changed to new server. Existing Power BI Datasets which are using Custom connectors like BimCollab, Kairnial are not getting refreshed. Throws the following error:Data source error: {"error":{"code":"DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_InvalidMashupConnectionString","pbi.error":{"code":"DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_InvalidMashupConnectionString","parameters":{},"details":[],"exceptionCulprit":1}}} Table: Issues.Any help would be highly appreciated.Thank you&nbsp;-Rohini

Has someone found a root cause for this? i am also having this same issue with the the Trino Custom Connector.
