DAX showing error

I am trying to write a dax statement but it says syntax for status is incorrect. The DAX is :

MTD = CALCULATE(SUM(C[T_C]),MONTH('Date'[DATE]) = MONTH(TODAY()), YEAR('Date'[DATE] = YEAR(TODAY()),STATUS = "C" || STATUS = "V" || STATUS = "D" || STATUS = "C")

The italic and underline part is showing the red line.

MTD = CALCULATE(SUM(C[T_C])
                ,MONTH('Date'[DATE]) = MONTH(TODAY())
                ,YEAR('Date'[DATE]) = YEAR(TODAY())
                ,STATUS IN { "C","V","D"}
)

You missed a closing parentheses after YEAR().
