Hi everyone!
I'm currently facing a problem while trying to enable the auto-refresh on my PBI dashboard (Power BI online).
I moved all my sources located in my pesonal storage to Onedrive (or Sharepoint, same) but the "data source credentials" is still greyed out.
It seems that PBI online requires me to add "on-premises gateways" as the button cannot be disabled but I don't understand why.
@Idrissshatila Edit : I sent a copy of my file to a colleague so that he could try and see. Guess what ? He has no issue to do it.
So my question now is WHY isn't it working with me ?
Any solutions to solve this ?
Thanks in advance 🙂

Thanks for your contribution.
I have the same issue, Could you please elaborate what exactly you did in the privacy level and what did you deleted after that.
I am connecting to the Fabric Warehouse and My report is in Import mode.
I am getting this error.
Data source error: {"error":{"code":"Premium_ASWL_Error","pbi.error":{"code":"Premium_ASWL_Error","parameters":{},"details":[{"code":"Premium_ASWL_Error_Details_Label","detail":{"type":1,"value":"We cannot refresh this semantic model because this semantic model uses a default data connection without explicit connection credentials. Please replace the default data connection in the semantic model settings with an explicit cloud or gateway data connection."}}],"exceptionCulprit":1}}}

Could someone help me to fix this issue. any leads would be appriciated
Hi @Anonymous ,
Are you appending any files data in your applied steps? If yes then you need to check your applied steps. As per my understanding it looks like your applied steps are referencing auto generated helper query for referencing outlook path.
Thanks,
Sai Teja
Hello @Anonymous ,
the question is, did you change the datasource in power bi desktop to read from the sharepoint, because if no then power bi can't recognise that you moved them, you need to change the connector in pbi desktop to read from sharepoint.
