CustomData and Enterprise Gateway

Hi All

Can someone please give a useful use case for using the CustomData property which is new to the enterprise gateway?

Historically the CustomData attribute was a great way to define custom RLS when you had a middleware system accessing SSAS.

Now when using CustomData, and by investigating through SQL profiler, a new CustomData tag comes through on the connection string with the logged in email address (good) but an EffectiveUsername tag is still passed through in the form of the ~Admin~ username which is set up for the gateway. What this means is, regardless of what ever role security you set up, you will see the whole model due to the EffectiveUsername being an Admin.

Can anyone see a way around this particular issue or would like to give some clarity around CustomData and how it can be used commercially?
