Custom text in shared report/dashboard
Hi, Is there an option to add custom text in a shared report/dashboard alongside a visual? Something like a .ppt slide? In our team, we are migrating all of our reporting to Power B...

Hi Enigma ,
Yes, you can absolutely do this. In a report:
- You can add text boxes - so the text is always visible.
- You can add custom tooltips - so user would have to hover to see
- For a self-guided tour of your report, you could use bookmarks that user would click through and different visuals would be highlighted (or spotlighted) along with text if you wanted.
On a dashboard:
- Select ellipses (...) and choose "Add tile" > "Text box"
If you need more help, let me know and I can provide links to the documentation. Or search at docs.microsoft.com/powerbi
