Custom link for report pinned in a dashboard

Hello folks,

Please, any one know why we can add a custom link to a Card (or others components like line chart) pinned in a dashboard, but for a pinned report it is not possible? The option is there when we edit the pinned report properties but is disabled. Why?

Any guess?

Hi @Anonymous,

The dashboard tiles get from the "Pin live page" feature are live and link to the original report. Currently it's not supported to edit custom link. You can vote on this idea: Individual Custom Links for Pinned Live Pages.

Does this custom link work in power BI embedded.

@Anonymous The "guess" would be because they are actually showing you the page and allowing you to interact with it which directly links the report page to the tile. Whereas other tiles are independant objects and you can customize them to link where you want. My guess is that rather than change the UI of the tile details they just grayed it out so you can't re-map it.
