Custom domain for a PowerBI dashboard

Hi,

I would like to share a shorter link than https://app.powerbi.com/groups/me/apps/1111aaaa-1111-aaaa-1111-aaaa

internally in our company. Any tips for this? The link would preferably be something that is easy to remember and has a describing name.

Also, what are the options for connecting a custom domain such as our-awesome-dashboard.com for the dashboard?

Hi. There is no such thing as changing the URL. If you have a domain and you want to add Power Bi as part of it, then you should check "Power Bi Embedded". You can pay for capacity and incorporate Power Bi things with javascript in your development.

You can also click on your report share button and find embed report website or portal. That will generate a link to add in an iframe in the html5 code of your site. Consider that this option will use microsoft authentication in order to render. The user must be a Power Bi Pro user.
