Hi All,
By default, when we open a Dashboard we need to display the data for last one month in th report. if users wants to change the selections they will choose the start date and end date in the slicers and reports needs to display the data accordingly.
Can any one suggest how to acheive this.
Hi @Kumar7360.
You can create a bookmark with measure formula and today function and apply on a visual(extract the year, month part and use with if statement), it will dynamically update the filter range based on the system date.

Hi,
This will hep me to get the last month filter by default but we also need a functionality where users change the date selection when they want some other date range.
HI @Kumar7360,
Nope, other types of interaction/filters not able to dynamic effect the stored bookmark filters. Perhaps you can try to add a query parameter filters on your query tables to effect generated data model table records to indirect effect the bookmark filters.

Hi @Kumar7360 ,
You can have the filter pane with a default filter of the last month for that date field. Then, whenever it opens, the report will be for the last month. But, if the user wants to change the date range, they will have to clear that filter and then use the date slicer.
