To use Copilot in Power BI Desktop, you need admin, member, or contributor permissions to at least one individual workspace assigned to a paid Fabric capacity (F64 or higher) or Power BI Premium capacity (P1 or higher) with Copilot enabled.

Confirm that the feature is enabled in the admin portal:

When using the Copilot chat pod, Copilot helps you leverage your data using the transformation capabilities of generative AI.
