Custom Branding - Cover Image

Hi

I've just had to update our company logo due to a design change. While uploading this I noticed the cover image option. After uploading and preveiwing the result I published it. I am fairly certain this doesn't show up ANYWHERE in the tenant, not even the Home tab/page.
Whether a service update has broken this... not sure. I don't really mind, as I haven't used it until now.
Just asking the question.
