Current/Previous Power BI Service Version Number
Is there a list of the version numbers whenever there's been a Power BI Service Update? For instance, when I look at the Power BI Service version underneath the question mark (?) and then select "About Power BI", the version 13.0.11888.307 is displayed. Is there a list of the most recent version and what the previous versions have been?
- Hi there
As far as I know this is not possible.
I do know that they are updating the service every day or every other day with things we are not aware of.
Could I ask what is the reason for the version number?

I was curious after looking at the Power BI Desktop versions and since I could see the latest Power BI Service version number, I figured I would ask. Thanks for the information about the frequency in which the Power BI Service is updated. This all stemmed from trying to get my Report Tooltip to load faster besides looking at the DAX execution duration. I figured if I had the latest Power BI Desktop and the latest Power BI Service version was "live", then maybe I would see an improvment in the Report Tooltip load time....wishful thinking.

I would suggest looking at your data model and then at your DAX to optimize what your Report Tooltip is showing. Probably something can be optimized there.

You can go to Help menu item and choose About Power BI, it will show some version numbers.
