Cross-tenant report sharing

We have a really ugly experience of cross-domain sharing.

We do have a reports shared with external user. Report and dataset shared using AAD group, this group contains AAD Guest Accounts who can have read access to the report. 

If externals never used the Power BI then for him flow looks like this:

1. We send AAD invintation to join our tenant. Redirect link in the invintation following directly to the report.

2. As soon as invintation sent we add guest account to the AAD group

3. External user follow the invintation link, accept it in the AAD, provide some info and then he redirected to the Power BI

4. Power BI ask to provide some info to register the user.

5. After registration user finally redirect to the report.... and got "You must request access to the report" message

6. User press Cancel and see this report in Shared with me section

7. User can click to this link or use direct link again, and he will be able to access the report

8. If user log off from the Power BI and then log in again, the report disappeared from the Shared with me section, but he still can access by direct link

 

That was tested with differents tenants and different reports, alwasy the same. This is really ugly, we want to provide access to out customers, but with flow like this its just super unfriendly.

      We must provide access for out customers to some reports and data in the report based on row-level security. All our customers using AAD, so we can create guest accounts for them in our AAD tenant.

      We have group to provide access to each report. 

      We have tool (web-based app) to create ADA invite, to map users to the report data and to add user to the group.

      Technially, all works, but with ugly UX for first log in on Power BI side.
