Hi everyone,
recently I've been trying to implement the cross report drill through but it's not working.
The table and the column names are the same, enabled the option from the report options and toggled the cross report option on on both reports. For example,
Consider this sample set and host report has the Name and Key and Target report has all the columns.
I Tried using the Key column and Name column both for the filter condition but none works. No drillthrough option is popping up on host report.
Can somebody help me out with this issue?
Thanks!
Hi @k3rz0rg
From what I can recall you have to make sure when doing a cross-report drill through the column names and data types have to be the same.
I would recommend watching this video from Guy in a Cube on how to make sure you can get it working: Cross-report Drillthrough in Power BI - YouTube
It's literally the same table I used to test the cross report dt after the main report failed (even in the main report, the table & column names, data types are same). Please see the screenshot and I explained everything there.
And I made sure everything is checked.
