Cross Report Drill-through Between Reports in SharePoint

I am trialling a solution to embed a report in Sharepoint webpart and can get the embedded report to drill-through to another pbix report within the same window within Sharepoint. However, there seems to be no way of navigating back to the original report within the same window unless you set up cross-report drill through in the other direction too.

Back button on the report only works within a single report and the web browser back button seems to work only when navigating back from a cross report drill through when in the service and not when the report is embedded in SharePoint.

Is there any way of navigating back to the original report after a cross report drill through for a report embedded within SharePoint? The only solution I have found so far is to refresh the page.

Hi @henry_gonsalves ,

As far as I concerned, this is by design. Power BI is now unable to achieve what you need . You can vote the idea here: back button on cross report drillthrough to take back to original report    and wait for users with the same needs as you to vote to help make it happen as soon as possible.

I ahve also found a similar post, please refer to it to see if it helps you.
