Hello Community!
I have a strange issue with several dataset and dataflows credentials in Power BI Service.
When I set credentials for some dataset/dataflows in a premium workspace, they runs OK. But they changes in another premium workspace in different dataset/dataflows, and vice versa.
The source is Snowflake, for both workspaces and dataset/dataflows.
Both ingests info from the same Database and Schema, only Role changes.
The credentials provided for the Snowflake source are invalid. (Source at *db-and-snowflake-schema*). The exception was raised by the IDbCommand interface.
Has anyone ever in this circunstances received this error?
Hi @aj1973 ,
Great, I´ll try in Power BI Desktop with the dataset queries, but for the dataflows I changed the roles in Power Query yet and they still don´t work.
Thank you!
Best Regards,
Agustín.
Dataflows are cloud based, the WS users need to have permission to edit it

Hi @Anonymous
Roles change = permissions to access DB and schemas also change in Snowflake... Check out that.
adding the Role when accessing to Snowflake via Power BI desktop is optional, try to delete the role from your queries in Power Query and see if it works
