Credential error for the SQL source are invalid

The most common cause of this issue is that the credentials used by the Power BI service to access the SQL data source may be outdated or not properly configured. In Power BI Services, navigate to Dataset Settings and under the Data Source Credentials section, select Edit Credentials for SQL data sources.

Also if the SQL data source is local, ensure that the Power BI gateway is properly configured and running.
