Creating a Copy of a Existing Report in Same Workplace

You'll need to create a new semantic model. You could try these steps (assuming that V1 of the report is in the Service):
- Download the PBIX file from the Service (File > Download this file)
- Open Power Query (Transform Data)
- Select the query that relates to the Excel file you need to change
- Change the relevant query step to the new Excel file path/name
- Test the changes (should be simple if formats are the same)
- Save the file with a new name ...V2.pbix
- Publish to Workspace

Thank you so much for your reply, I'm going to give this process a shot.
One question, this won't overwrite the existing V1 report w/ links will it? Just a bit worried of this possiblity since V1 is a heavily used report.

Resolver IAs you would have found out, as long as the PBIX is saved as a different name it won't overwrite the original. Glad it worked for you!
