Create workspaces (new workspace experience) limit to security groups not working as expected
Does anybody know why it's not possible for me to set an office 365 group as the only security group that is permitted to create workspaces with the new experience?
It only finds email enabled security groups from local AD which is not how I expect this to work. For Teams for example I'm able to specify that only members of the "Office365GroupCreators" unified group are allowed to create new Teams.
Any ideas?

Your demand is a good idea, while it is not supported to add Office 365 group to the workspace setting objects but only for the Security group in Power BI currently. You can post your new idea in Idea Forum , to improve the Power BI.
It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.
