Create a new table from existing one

Hi All,

 

I am unable to open to open eixting power bi report after July 17 upgrade. I am unable to fine "New Matrix Visual" option also in Preview features. Please let me know what is needed to open my existing poer bi report.

    Got answer in community through other question. I change the screen orientation and clicked on "Got It" button on new Message windows.

    Now I can open my existing report

    Which July '17 upgrade? The new one or the new, new one? They seem to have released two updates in July. The latest is:

     

    2.48.4792.721 64-bit (July 2017)

     

    The first one has a 4xx at the end I believe.

     

    They appear to have rolled the new table and matrix previews into the table and matrix visuals.

     

    Do you get an error message when trying to open your older files and when was the last time those files were opened and saved?

    Hi Anonymous,

     

    As smoupre said, current the matrix/table preview visuals are released and merge to original table/matrix visuals. You can also use the old visuals on the last version of power bi desktop, but you can't direct create they on the last version.

     

    In addition, if you faced any compatibility issues, you can share they here or report to power bi team.
