Create a connection parameter within power bi service

Hello,

I would like to know if it is possible to change the source of a report directly from power BI service.

I know that it is possible to create and modify connection parameters from desktop, then change them in power bi service. Is it possible to make these settings directly in power bi service without going through desktop?

Also, if it is possible, is there a difference in the creation of parameters in power bi service between a dataset in import mode or a direct query connection?
