Create a User in an Azure SQL Database, credentials don't work in Service
Just wondering if there are certain things you need to do when adding Users into an Azure SQL Database
We have a Read Only user which connects in Desktop, but errors in the data set in Service Tenant identifiers may not be an empty GUID.
When you create Users in SQL Server Management Studio are there certain things you need to do in order to make them work in Service?
Hi there
The user account you create would also needed to be added to the Data Source Credentials in the Power BI Service once the dataset has been uploaded.
You will have to go to Settings (1), then Settings (2), then Datasets (3) and then under Data Source Credentials (4) and put in the same username and password there to get it working.
