I recently noticed an anamoly between PBI Desktop and PBI Service in rendering Bing map data. In a key report that simply surfaces county/state data for the state of Florida (e.g. "Miami-Dade County, FL"), the data for Monroe County (the Keys) is not surfaced in the Service but is fine when rendered in PBI Desktop.
I'm not sure if the issue is with PBI Service or the Bing maps service but I'm leaning toward the former. Any ideas??
Hi @dharland,
It seems fine. How did you create the report?
Best Regards,
Dale
You are looking at Miami-Dade county, not Monroe county, which is the Florida Keys. Since my post, I've noticed the same issue occurs within PBI Desktop from time-to-time. So, I assume it is a bug with the Bing maps API.
FYI, the regions highlighted on the map are also incorrect when this anamoly occurs. In other words, the county highlighted in the map visual is not the correct county.
