Cortana and Power BI Integration issue

Hi,

 

I've had a look through the other Cortana and Power BI issues but couldn't find any related to this.

 

I've created a report with 2 Cortana sized reports, uploaded and enabled the datasets for Cortana.  I can search for these reports in Cortana and it finds them, although I have to be very specific.  The 2 reports are called "Product Sales" and "Sales by Region".  I have to type the names exactly otherwise Cortana will not find them.  If I type "product" or "region sales" then nothing will appear, I need to type "product sales" or "sales by region", essentially matching the name of the report with no fuzzy matching.  I cannot search for a measure either, so in the reports there is a single measure called "Total Amount", I cannot search for this in Cortana.

 

Has anyone else had this issue?

    Hi Anonymous,

    When you create Cortana answered page, add your measure and other alternate names in the following screenshot, Cortana uses these names when it searches for results.  Also type page name rather than report name and these alternate names when using Cortana.


    For example, in the above report, I name the page “Sales from Azure” and add some alternate names (CheckMeasure by color; ListPrice by color), then I can use Cortana to search for this report as follows, I don’t need to type the full name of report page and alternate names.

      Hi,

       

      Cortana shows the power bi dataset, but not loading the powerbi cortana card report . it shows as loading.. while testing with powerbi.com/cortana/test also, it find the intepretations based on the utterence but not showing the cortana card at all. Can you please help?
