Copy and edit a report in an app

we need to allow users to edit their own reports without editing the main one. We found a solution by creating an App (enabling Allow users to connect to the app's underlying datasets” and “Allow users to make a copy of the reports in this app”), the users are able to copy the reports, the issue is that Edit option is not able. any suggestions?

thanks! we are able to copy a report and it works. the issue we have is that we cannot edit the report that has been copied
