Good morning! I have a workspace that holds just copies of a handful of reports from another workspace (the users aren't allowed to see all the reports in the other workspace but we don't want to maintain multiple copies of the same report).
I am able to copy the reports to the new dataset, give the users viewer access on the new workspace and give them build permission on the underlying datasets (on the main workspace) but it doesn't allow them access to the report on the new workspace.
It gives them this message:
Permission required -
You cannot see the content of this report because you do not have permissions to the underlying dataset. Please contact the dataset owner to request access
Any ideas??
Hey @allyklee ,
does the dataset contain Row Level Security (RLS), if this is the case, the users from the report workspace have to be assigned a RLS role.
Regards,
Tom
