Contact List Workspace Error to add groups

Hi All,

i created a powerbi workspace and i tried to add a security group(synced with from onprem to azure ad) on contact list(https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-create-the-new-workspaces#workspace-contact-list) in that workspace, but i receive this error:

I suppose that a classic security group is not good so Which kind of group i need to create to add on contact list?

HI @Anonymous ,

Have you tried to share with normal workspace? If normal workspace works, I think this should more related to the security group.
AFAIK, security is not the same as normal workspace, it contains security settings that may block backend operations and verifications.

Hi,

With the user(it has power bi pro licence) that i'm using i can't create classic workspace.

I don't find on microsoft doc which type of group need contact list 😞

Maybe you can open a support ticket to get further from power bi team, it is free for pro and above licenses.
