Connection to PowerBI database not working in report
Hi all, I created a report in the PowerBI desktop (pbix) using excel files as data and a direct query data connection from another PowerBI database. When I publish the .pbix file into the Report ...
The database is in the same workspace and created by myself, so this should not be the problem.
After a lot of trial and error: What seems to be the problem is that the original data of the database is stored on my onedrive. Which the server can not connect to via the direct query on the server. I tried the same for data on the Sharepoint, which I can't even upload in the powerBI desktop.
Has anyone suggestions?
