Connection lost between excel file and power BI service

Hi!!
Recently i have created one excel file which i placed in One drive for Business. I have used this file to develop reports and Dashboards from Power BI web service.
Yesterday while working on the One Drive, by mistake I CUT and PASTE same file to Sharepoint. I corrected my mistake and placed same file back to One drive for business (without any modification). After this instance i updated some of the contents in same file and tried to refresh the Power BI reports/datasets but it is not updating in power BI service. For your information, I am not getting any error message for connection lost but same time nothing is updating.
Kindly suggest what can be done to bring the connection back as i have spent whole lot of time in preparing this report and Dashboard.

Thanks

Hi @ashokpershad,

I have tested it on my local environment, I can reproduce this issue. Based on my research, the report data source connect to the original excel file which is not existing on your one drive, so you get this issue. Currently, if you dellete the original excel file by mistake, you need to re-connect to it the excel file and create your report manually. Thank you for your understanding.

Hello,

I think I have the same issue now.

Just stopped trying to refresh and nothing I can do about it.

I have about 10 reports based on this one dataset. if I will delete and reimport it, I will have to recreate all the 10 reports??

Please advise how you solved it. it will help me a lot.

Thanks!
