Connection has no credentials
Hi there,
I have the following scenario. I am making a connection to AzureDevOps, but in the Manage Conex and Gateways section, I am unable to update the credentials. If you see the image first, it does not load the options (window, token, etc.). I am doing this with Gateway since Azure is Server version.
thank you

Hi PabloMoraA ,
Ensure that your Power BI Gateway is up to date. An outdated gateway might cause connectivity issues. Based on your screenshot it looks like your personal gateway is offline, can you check if the personal gateway is up? It is in the form of an app so you need to start it manually. To update your credentials in the Power BI service, open the semantic model settings and choose Data source credentials.
If none of this helps, could you try recreating the data source on the Enterprise Gateway? Does that solve the problem?
For more details, please refer: Use a personal gateway in Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

- Ensure that your Power BI Gateway is up to date: Yes it´s up to date, and the gateway it is online.
- It is in the form of an app so you need to start it manually: sorry I didn´t understand this?
- To update your credentials in the Power BI service, open the semantic model settings and choose Data source credentials. the problem is that it´s in read only mode
- If none of this helps, could you try recreating the data source on the Enterprise Gateway? Does that solve the problem? You mean publish again the report? o install again the gateway, thanks a lot.

Hi PabloMoraA ,
Gateways are categorized into On-premises data gateway and On-premises data gateway (personal mode). As you can see from your screenshot you are using a personal gateway and it is offline. Personal gateway runs as an application so it usually does not start itself, please search for the application in the search bar of your computer to open it and then refresh it in services to see if it is online.
If this doesn't work, you can create a data source on the On-premises data gateway. Refer to the following:
Add or remove a gateway data source - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
On-premises data gateway - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
