Connecting with Sage 100
New to Sage and PowerBI. In looking over the forum it seems like it may be possible to connect Sage 100 to PowerBI, possibly with the ODBC connector. Can anyone offer a little direction in how to achieve the connection? What info will I need? I have connected to several other data sets, but not sure how to get this going.
Thanks
After asking a few others it appears that Sage Intelligence is going away and Sage 100 has moved to SQL, so I'm headed down that road now, installing the SQL server

Hi Brian704 ,
There are plenty of third party tools out there to purchase that can make the connection for you.
I recall having done this a while back and we had to install a Sage 100 ODBC driver on teh machine running the query (including the gateway machine).
This user group appears to have instructions:
Connecting PBI to Sage 100 ERP via odbc issue | Power BI Exchange (pbiusergroup.com)
If that doesn't help, here is a potentially helpful video: (203) Discover the convenience and benefit of using Microsoft Power BI with Sage Intelligence Reporting. - YouTube

Hi Brian704 ,
You could follow the guide in this blog to connect, even it tells about author and Share Power BI Reports on Real-Time Sage 50 UK Data.
And it suit Only Sage 50 UK 2012 and above are supported. And according this article ,in my opinion, Sage 100 is above Sage 50UK, this function should also suit.
