Hello,
Does anyone know if it is possible to connect to the Azure service 'Microsoft Entra Authentication Methods' in Power BI? Specifically, the 'User registration details' section of this? You can navigate to this section via portal.azure.com then clicking "Microsoft Entra Authentication Methods" and then "User registration details".
In here, we can manually download the report, which shows registered multifactor authentication methods. Once downloaded we can move it to a SharePoint site and then use it as a data source in Power BI. Does anyone know if there is a more automated way to do this? Perhaps a direct connection to this source.
Screenshot of the section I am referring to, there is a download option but I am not sure if Power BI can connect directly without having to download:
Thanks
Robert
Hi @robrien ,
Currently, there is no direct way to connect to the ‘Microsoft Entra Authentication Methods’ service in Power BI. The ‘User registration details’ section you are referring to is part of the Azure portal and is not directly accessible as a data source in Power BI.
The manual process you described, where you download the report and move it to a SharePoint site to use as a data source in Power BI, is a common workaround.
However, for a more automated solution, you might consider using Power Automate or a similar service to automate the process of downloading the report and uploading it to SharePoint. Once the data is in SharePoint, you can refresh it in Power BI.
