Connecting to Oracle 11

The message about Object Reference is usually an issue with the data source OR the relationships within the file.  So, for the gateway connection, is the Data Source working?  And, if so, is the Data Source connection EXACTLY the same as in your Desktop version - as in, not using local paths but using the "cloud" path to Oracle (unless it is in house - then it needs to be an internal URL or FQDN)?  And, is the Privacy Level type set the same thing in both?

If that is all ok, then, what about permissions in your file that is in the Service -is it using the right permissions?  

What about network permissions?  Is something stopping you from getting to Oracle from your Power BI instance?

And, if that still is not working, be sure to update your Gateway software and make sure that you Power BI software is the latest and greatest as well.
