Hi PowerBi Guru's,
I'm currently building a PBI that receives the tracking information from a Kusto DB but from there I want to connect it to the relevant API to provide an update on where the DHL consignment is.
Have used PBI so I'm using to grabbing the data but I'm not sure how to link the DHL API to PBI so it grabs the current status of the tracking.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Does the DHL API come with documentation?
It does have some documentation but I think I'm operating in over my head here.
The data is imported from an azure Kusto query which has the tracking numbers with the relevant couriers fedex/DHL.
spoke to a friend who told me I'd have to code the api specifically to work with the tracking numbers and this is something I've never touched...
just trying to workout the simplest approach instead of copying and pasting 50+ tracking numbers manually onto the DHL website if that makes sense
cheers
Don't attempt to reinvent the wheel. Use their official API.
Zero intention of changing their API but I've never tried to import an API element into a PowerBi so I wasn't sure it could even be done
does that make sense?
