Connecting 2 semantic models through an api

We have a new api and i can connect to a semantic model i need to however when i try to connect to another semantic model i cant go up a level to find the other tables. I definitely have permissions ...

    issue is with the database unfortunately so the solutions dont help this time through no fault of yours but i apprecaite the help always
