Connect to XMLA Endpoint with Power Automate
I'm wondering if there is a way to use Power Automate to connect to a Power BI dataset and loop over it? Since retrieving a dataset through the API (or any other standard Power Automate connector) doesn't seem possible, my next thought was using the XMLA endpoint. It appears that the SQL connector might be albe to connect to SQL Analysis Services, but it errors out on my XMLA endpoint string. I have premium capacity assigned to the workspace I'm attempting to connect to.
The thought here is to create a small dataset in PBI that refreshes daily, pull that data into Power Automate, and perform some repetitive tasks like sending emails based on compliance status or remove a user from an AAD group based on their appointment status. The data is core to that type of automation, and I would prefer to move away from having a lot of Excel workbooks published and scheduled in the PBI service.
