Connect to BigQuery using service account

Hi!

According to June 2021 update it should now be possible to connect to BigQuery using a service account. https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-june-2021-feature-summary/#post-16112-_Toc74044973

Can anyone instruct me how to do it? I have the JSON from Google, but I am struggling to understand what should be the password during the authentication, since the private key is too long.

Thanks!

    Hi, catleen ;

    Step 1. Generating service account keys

    1. On the Service accounts page (IAM & Admin | Service accounts), click the configuration icon in the Actions column and select Manage keys.

    2. Click the Add key list and select Create new key.

    3. In the Create private key dialog, select JSON and click Create.

      The private key download is started automatically.

    Hi v-yalanwu-msft

    Any idea when the use of Service Accounts will be supported in the Power BI Service, i.e. for Dataflows?

    Thanks
