Helper IConnect to AWS from Service
Hello forum,
a client of my has a problem to connect to a AWS database from the PBI service.
When he tries to initially connect via the gateway with his data source credentials he gets following error message:
his connection works in the desktop app but not in service.
he is admin in the security group in AWS. Even if public access is enabled, a connection cant be set up.
Does someone know what the cause could be?

you likely need an on-premise or VNet gateway.
