Connect multiple Datasets in same excel file for analysis
In that case, I need to connect two excel files to different datasets and use them again in Power BI Desktop to compare 🙂

If you want to create a new dataset connected to two excel files, you can do it for sure. Just open Power Bi Desktop and connect. If you want to connect a Power Bi Desktop to a dataset and add an excel file you can also do it, look for "composite models". That's the name for that last example.
I hope that make sense

Yes, I wanted to avoid all those additional steps and objects creations by connecting in same excel file to compare data and present formatted outputs.
Also, that way I don't need to create Paginated report for formatted outputs and users will just open Excel file and refresh data according to what they want.
