Connect SSAS on RDS to Power BI Service Admin error

I am trying to build Power BI reports on top of a SSAS tabular model hosted in AWS RDS and publish these to the service using Pro licenses. I am unable to see the data in the service - I dont think I can assign the required server admin role to my windows auth which is needed to allow access via the gateway, I am seeing this error -

"The on-premises data gateway's service account failed to impersonate the user"

Has anyone had success using SSAS on RDS for enterprise hosting of semantic model for Power BI?

Can you share the screenshot of Underlying error message?
