Helper IIConnect Live - SSAS MD/Tab Refresh History
We have an enterprise data gateway with successful live connections to SSAS MD and Tab. The documentation I have read makes it seem that the data refresh is not necessary due to the live connection; however, when I view the refresh history on the dataset, it shows that it's being updated roughly every 30 minutes. Is this frequency a configuration that is managed in the data source and/or on-premise data gateway? Or, is this a configuration managed by Microsoft.
I'm my particular test, I made changes to the relational database and process the model and cube. The data did not refresh until the refresh history showed the next update.

Based on research, I find the "connection live" mode will auto refresh each 30 minutes.(it may be same as scheduled refresh, but you can't manually setting the refresh data range )
