Conect Power BI to Microsoft Project.

Good morning everyone, I have a problem with connecting Power BI to the Microsoft Project service. I have an Enterprise 365 subscription and a subscription to both desktop versions. I am trying them all and I cannot read a job done with Microsf Projec on power BI.
I have also tried in the web environment to connect power with Microsoft Project Web App and Microsoft Project for wen, with the same negative result. I am attaching the images of the message. I thank if anyone would like to help me

Hi @Shezan ,

When connecting to Project Online data through Power BI Desktop. If the address for your Project Web App site resembles https://<tenantname>.sharepoint.com/sites/pwa, then the address to enter for your OData Feed is https://<tenantname>.sharepoint.com/sites/pwa/_api/Projectdata.

Power BI Desktop prompts you to authenticate with your work or school account. Select Organizational account and then enter your credentials. The account you use to connect to the OData feed must have at least Portfolio Viewer access to the Project Web App site.

When connecting to the Project Web App using Power BI. For Authentication Method, select oAuth2 > Sign In. When prompted, enter your Project Web App credentials and follow the authentication process. You need to have Portfolio Viewer, Portfolio Manager, or Administrator permissions for the Project Web App you are connecting to.

Detailed information is available in the documentation.

Hi @Shezan

To connect Power BI to Microsoft Project:

  1. Permissions: Ensure your Power BI account has the right access to Microsoft Project or Dataverse.
  2. Correct Connector:
    • For Project for the Web, use the Dataverse connector.
    • For Project Online (Web App), use the OData Feed connector.
  3. Connection Settings: Make sure you're using the correct URL for your environment or Project Online instance.
  4. Authentication: Ensure you're signed in with your Microsoft 365 account and have the necessary permissions.
  5. Check Service Health: Verify there are no issues with Microsoft services.

If you're still facing issues, provide error messages for more targeted help.

Thanks for your help but how do I verify the correct permissions on office 365? Many people write me this verification but I don't know how to do it. again I have corporate acount and it seems to work in everything except for this power BI and project connection. Also the connectors are correct and my profile seems to be authorized and recognized but in the end it comes up with the errors I reported in my first post. I thank you but your directions are very general and I find them written all over the place.

Hi, I would like to connect the database to this job which is in MS Project 365 web space- I tried this address but it does not recognize my credentials. I report that I have logged into MS 365 and use all the rest of the functionality. Is it possible to do this? I am not an expert, thank you

  1. Authentication: make sure you are logged in with your Microsoft 365 account and have the necessary permissions.
    What permissions are needed?
