Conditional images in paginated reports

I am trying to set conditional images on a report based off a parameter selected in my report? So in essence a parameter determines which image is selected to appear in the report with each parameter switching images? I've found the tooltip and use this image, and thats where I think it'll happen? How do I have a parameter show up on my report with it just saying the text of the parameter selected?
