Communicating to the datasource from Visual page in PowerBi service
I am looking to communicate a parameter from the visual page in power Bi service to the data source(SQL server) to run a Stored Procedure with the passed parameter and load a table.
This calculated table needs to be loaded back into the powerBi service
1. Need to assess the feasibility
2. If feasible the response time for the whole process from passing parameter till loading the visual based on the calculated table
I believe it's possible when we are using PowerBi Desktop, However, when I publish to service the visual does not load.

Hi bijeshcb ,
Desktop and Service are platforms for authoring tools and collaboration, they do not have such features and you may need to use external tools or integrated external features.
