Combine reports from 2 different workspaces

Hello Everyone,

I have 2 reports of same structure created using 2 different databases and hence are published in 2 different workspaces one for NZ and one for Australia. Is it possible to combine these 2 reports from different workspaces into one ?

I tried to create a total new workspace and tried to import the downloaded pbix file into new workspace. I got following error.

I believe it is not possible to pin the visual from one workspace to the dashboard in another workspace either. Tried these 2 ways and no luck. Could someone please suggest any alternative solution. I appreciate your help.

Thanks

Hi. Dashboards can only be created with reports inside of the same workspace. If you want to create a dashboard from different reports, you can create this "new workspace" and new reports connected to across the dataset. Create report and get data from the dataset from the first or second workspace as source. Copy paste the pages you need to build the pin and then pin them on service.

At the end of the day you should have a "New Workspace" with one dashboard full of tiles pinned from two reports (each one live connected to a power bi dataset in a different workspace).

I hope that helps,
